378. Matthias Budde (C250)

SOURCE: Trap Danmark (1958); FHL book, Scand 948.9 E2t; vol. 15; p. 679;
article on Hindsels estate. (Hindsels estate probates do not begin until
1742; Hvidbjerg church reg. not until 1730). I have not seen possible property
records on which the Trap article is based.
MARRIAGE: Ibid.; p. 679. Son-in-law of Casper Gersdorff. Since his oldest
granddaughters (through Ollegaard) are named Dorthe and Else, his wife's name
may be Else (using maternal grandmother's name second; cf. the pattern used
in naming Ollegaard's boys: first after paternal grandfather, second after
maternal grandfather). The article lists three children of this marriage.
It indicates that Caspar and his brother-in-law Melchior Juel divided the
estate into Oster and Vester Hindsels in 1666; Oster Hindsels became Caspar's.
DEATH/BURIAL: Ibid.; p. 679. Gives date as 1679.
ORDINANCES: B, E, SS temple ord. card in possession of George S. Tate.
